Shipping & Service Policy – Avatar Logistic
1. Scope of Services
Avatar Logistic provides professional logistics and freight services primarily for companies and commercial businesses. Our services include:
• Sea freight from China to Jordan
• Air freight services
• Shipment consolidation
• Coordination of customs clearance
• Warehousing and temporary storage
• Local delivery (when agreed)
All services are provided based on direct agreement and signed contract with the client.
2. Estimated Transit Time
All services are provided based on direct agreement and signed contract with the client.
Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
• Sea freight: Approximately 45–50 days
• Air freight: Approximately 8–12 business days
Delays caused by customs inspections, port congestion, airline schedules, weather conditions, or force majeure events are beyond the company’s control.
3. Client Responsibilities
The client is fully responsible for:
• Providing accurate and complete shipment information
• Ensuring goods comply with Jordanian import laws
• Declaring if goods are fragile, hazardous, branded, restricted, or regulated
• Paying all customs duties, taxes, inspection fees, and governmental charges (when agreed)
Failure to provide correct information may result in delays, penalties, or legal consequences for which the client is solely responsible.
4. Prohibited & Restricted Goods
Avatar Logistic does not handle illegal, counterfeit, hazardous, or restricted goods under Jordanian or international law.
The client bears full legal responsibility for the nature and legality of the shipped goods.
5. Storage Policy
A free storage period of 12 days applies from the date of arrival.
After the free period expires, storage fees will be charged per cubic meter per day.
The company reserves the right to retain goods until all outstanding fees are paid.
6. Liability
Avatar Logistic acts as a logistics service provider and intermediary.
• The company is not responsible for supplier packaging defects.
• The company is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profits, or business interruption.
• Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific shipment service.
